MY FAMILY VISITED!!!! I am so happy - if you cannot tell. It was a moment
of rejoicing to see their smiling faces and get to give and receive those
special hugs from and with them. Their visit blessed my heart and helped my
spirit receive the encouragement that it needed as I step off this continent
into a place that seems a world away right now, and I am not talking
geographically. It was fun to be able to show them around and introduce them to
those team members that have and are becoming my family, my sweet sisters in
Christ. It turned into a sort of family vacation as we visited South Padre
Island and just enjoyed our time together camping up in the upper room and
talking about anything and everything. My team completely fell in-love with
those two China babies that are my wonderful siblings, and were more than happy
to have kids to play with on the base. I have to say that Isaiah and Emma are
the cutest 6 and 7 year old that have ever walked this planet, and there are a
few here that would not hesitate in agreeing. It was a blast and I will not
hesitate in saying that it was a kiss of heaven to have my two wonderful
parents here to pray over me one last time and my three wonderful siblings to
encourage and share with me that special bond that binds brothers and sisters
together. We had a wonderful time together and it became a sweet time of refreshing for me as I basked in that sacred gift of family. Here are a couple of pics' from the beach!
