Hello to everyone who happen to read this blog! My blog is finally set up right before

I run off to Georgia for my first training camp...YEA!!! I am beyond excited to see what the Lord has in-store, and to begin this new journey. However, this is my bio page, so here it goes, and forgive me if I ramble, I tend towards that weakness.

I was born in Lubbock, Texas, however, for most of my life I have lived in a small town in the northern Texas Panhandle, to be exact, Pampa, Texas. I am a homeschooler just graduated from high school, 18 years old, a rancher's daughter, the first born of four, and a lover of Jesus. I have a wonderful family all consisting of my little brother Blake who is 17 (a good 8 inches taller than myself!) and my very passionate, governmental, Joseph guy. My other little brother, Isaiah who is 7 and my prophetic treasure baby from China. Finally, my one and only little sister Emma who is 6 and is my own passionate, fireball, Deborah from China. And I must not forget my two wonderful parents who have trained and taught me so much about the Father's heart, and who I never can thank my Father or them enough for what they have given me.

I absolutely love the smell of rain, "real" conversations, humor, hiking through beautiful country, writing in my journal, reading books by Henri Nouwen/John G. Lake/A.W. Tozer/Madame Guyon...(and the list could go on, I love to read!), mochas, sleep, looking at the stars, mountains, playing with kids, talking with old people, listening to children talk, saying big words...usually wrong, travel, adventure, current events, playing card games, listening to good music, and I love loving and being loved by Jesus!!!

I am going to be honest and say some things I don't like quite so much and one would be country music (and being a Texan and a rancher's daughter I am quite aware this is unusual), math/science, really hot weather, humidity, strange food, noise when I want quiet, getting no sleep when I long for a nap, people taking a long way to do things/slow drivers, and there is probably going to be a million more before I finish this trip. Therefore I am praying for much grace, being quite aware of the fact that I am going to be refined, but my flesh is simply screaming, "NO!!!" the closer I get to the fire.

Some of my weaknesses and tendencies is that I can be horrible exaggerator (e.g. making a bad story sound a million times worse for a laugh), a bit of a drama queen (e.g. when I was six and got in trouble I use to scream, "Not the nails, Mom, please not the nails!!!), I have no sense of coordination, I have a horrible knack of writing run-on sentences, and my brother would insist that I put moody, but I protest on the grounds of being a female therefore I have the right to that most feminine weakness of emotionalism. He doesn't know it but it gives the feminine race the ability to carry a part of the Father's heart men know nothing about. But I am rambling again so let me close by saying...

I could probably write a ton of other random stuff about myself, but I will quit before I scare everyone away from my blog. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!
